About Crop PDF
Crop PDF trims an even margin from all four edges of every page. It is the quick fix for scans that came out with a dark border, and for documents whose margins are so generous they waste space when printed or read on a small screen.
Cropping a custom rectangle, or a different region per page, is not available yet — the current tool applies one uniform trim across the whole document.
How to use Crop PDF
- Select the PDF you want to crop.
- Set how much to trim from the edges.
- Preview the result to check nothing important is cut off.
- Download the cropped PDF.
Frequently asked questions
Is the cropped-away content deleted from the file?
No. Cropping sets the page's visible area, so the trimmed content is hidden rather than removed and could be revealed by resetting the crop. If you need content genuinely destroyed, use Redact PDF instead.
Can I crop just one page?
Not currently — the trim applies to every page. Split the page out first if you need to crop it on its own.
