Fill PDF Forms detects the interactive fields in a PDF — text boxes, checkboxes, radio buttons and dropdowns — and lets you complete them without Acrobat.
When you are done you can flatten the form, which bakes your answers into the page as permanent content. Flattening is usually what you want before sending a completed form back: it stops the values being edited later or cleared by accident in another viewer.
How to use Fill PDF Forms
- Open a PDF that contains interactive form fields.
- Fill in each detected field.
- Tick the flatten option if you want your answers locked in place.
- Save and download the completed PDF.

The document is a flat page rather than a real interactive form, which is common for scanned or printed-then-saved forms. Use Edit PDF to type your answers on top of the page instead.
